Welcome to LisaMarie's Mystical Readings! I have created this little nook in cyberspace as an avenue for the discussion of mystical and spiritual topics such as spiritual readings, Wicca, and Norse Heathenry and the African Tradition Religions.  As a spiritual worker in my community, I know how difficult it can be to find the answers that you need to continue your path.  It can be difficult and even frustrating to wonder on a path thinking that you are in the dark and that no one understands what your going through or even to believe that you are walking a path that hasn't been explored by many before you.  You're not alone!!  Guidance is but a click away!  I perform general readings to help guide those of you who may need answers for anything in your life...this may be about money, success, health and or even love!  It can also be for general guidance from the gods or just to make decisions about a career!!  I am here to help! Types of Readings

There are many ways to perform a reading. This can be done through tarot cards, runes, playing cards, cowrie shells, and by what I call channeling. When getting a reading it should be understood that each reading isn’t set in stone! Every decision that one makes affects one’s future.  With this in mind, let’s examine but a few methods of divination that I personally have used with much success!

Tarot Card Readings:  Generally when I perform a tarot card reading for a client, I do whats called an extended Celtic Cross layout.  This layout consists of 13 cards with the center focus of the issue being the center card.  Each card in turn then elaborates on the cards around them in the placement and gives a general understanding of what is to come past, present, and future.    

Runes:  In a runic layout, I choose 7 runes.  Six runes are arranged in a past, present, and future arrangement with the seventh one of the grouping being the center focus of the issue and becomes an indicator rune for the querent.  Another method of performing a runic reading is by placing the runes in a bag and shaking them and drawing out 3 to see generally what is going on around by again checking the past, present, and future of the situation at hand. 

Cowrie Shells:  A cowrie shell reading can be utilized for questions that have a "yes" or "no" answer.  This method of reading is a lot like a pendulum reading in that a question is formulated that will only have a simple answer to it.  This type of reading has basis in the Ifa faith (African Traditional Religions) and can be a useful way to get a straight answer to a question that has been gnawing at the querent but that doesn't require an elaborate layout to find answers.  This method is based in a more complicated set up that requires years of practice and knowledge from a learned elder to interpret the various sequences and odu that accompany each layout.  For my purposes, I only use the 4 shell method which is useful for a simple answer.    

Channeling:   A channeling session is a mediumistic exchange of energies between me and the spirits of either the person I am reading or the Gods that I worship.  These entities exchange information with me to pass on to the querent.
